The Love, Victor TV series release date has been moved up two weeks, from June 19 to June 17, about Juneteenth amid Dark Lives Matter protests.
The statement comes as an immediate response to the murder of George Floyd along with the ensuing Black Lives Issue protests across America within the past two weeks.
In an announcement on Twitter before today, Hulu expressed unequivocal support for its Dark Lives Issue motion and pledged to admit Juneteenth by shifting the series’s debut up. “This season signifies a significant turning point for our state and individual rights, and we think that today, more than ever, it deserves to have its day in the spotlight,” Hulu wrote.
Enjoy, Victor is an offshoot of this popular young adult book-turned-rom-com Enjoy, Simon. Composed and created by the movie’s screenwriters, the show revolves around Victor (Michael Cimino), a new pupil in Creekwood High School because he navigates his house life, adjusts to a new college, also grapples with his sexual orientation.
